About Short Takes

A Short Take is our read on a company, event, or trend.

We issue Short Takes frequently — every time we meet with a company, go to a conference, or want to alert our clients.

Short Takes go only to subscribers, who are usually financial analysts or strategists at consulting companies.

We do not publish current Short Takes on our web site. All of the ones you see are at least three months old.

We do, however, go into our files and publish older Short Takes that retain some interest, even if they have lost their urgency.

If you're interested in seeing old ones, check out our archive. Or keep on checking our main page, where we will post short versions of some of our most interesting recent pieces.
